    Talking back to the media

Just finished “Enlightened Sexism”! It truly was a fascinating book, and one that I highly recommend. The last chapter got me thinking about ways to challenge stereotyping of women in the media, and I’ve decided to start calling out advertisemts (and the like) that insult women, as Susan J. Douglas suggests. When beginning my research, I came across this great website! I haven’t thoroughly explored it yet, but check it out! Also, start identifying negative stereotypes of women in the media! The more people that participate, the more impact we can make.
